What software or other services have you found helpful in finding descendants of those interred to solicit them for financial support? Is Ancesrty.com a good investment for this?
YES -= we love Ancestry! We use it a lot. Sometimes it can lead you to an obituary with names. Sometimes obits are on FindaAGrave.com Then we use whatever information we can piece together and use facebook, tax rolls, etc. to find people. Good luck!
I use several sites, Ancestry, Family Search (free), GenealogyBank. They all tend to have some of the same info, but sometimes one will have more info than others.
